The years have gone by, many things have changed. So many times now, we try to pause and look back. Desperate, we have become to hold on to our pasts, an old picture pops up every now and then and reminds us of dear friends an simple times. Songs of old now mean much more than their lyrics can convey. A chance meeting with an old friend sends us spiraling down the memory lane.
We keep remembering our sudden partings, keep dreaming about joyous reunions. We plan trips to meet friends, plan celebrating festivals with family. We get together every once in a while and talk of the good old days.
Have I forgotten how to live in the present?

Brief and concise, and dude we live in the present to reminisce abt it in the future. As it is living in the present is a bit overrated if not cliched.
You're not alone. It happens to everyone. And why wouldn't it happen ? The past was so simple, so carefree, so fearless - our lives bubbling with hope, ambition and excitement about the most insignificant of things. There was so much to be explored, understood and experienced for the first time.
Memories which can never be forgotten or gotten bored of, no matter how much we speak of them.
It is unfortunate that we now have to make a conscious effort to live in the present - something which came to us involuntarily and so naturally in the past.
There isnt much I have to say.For you know what I think, that the past is etched so strongly ,so thoroughly, perhaps too deep in our lives so as never to be dispensed.
