Lets celebrate their victory, forget my loss,
Lets speak of their glory, not lament my failures,
But lets not forget my lost tear,
Lets remember my efforts year after year,
I write today not to cry,
I want again to stand up and try,
To walk again in the sands of time,
All I want for once, is to shine.
I don't ask too much from the world around,
Just a little place to stand my ground,
I'll try to rise from the ashes,
The unhealed wounds and the gashes,
To loose is not easy,
The hope of success is still hazy,
But your faith is all i need,
Your hand in mine, when i plant the seed,
Your smile in my mind when i move ahead,
A glint in your eyes and my world is all set.
I don't need to be afraid of any more loss,
When I have your smile, your trust,
Your Love.
